Resident rates are available only to residents of State College Borough and the Townships of College, Ferguson, Harris and Patton. Proof of residency must be available at the time of registration, otherwise the Nonresident rate applies. |
Wee KIDVenture Camp
at Easterly Parkway Elementary School
3-5 year olds who have not entered Kindergarten . Weekly Themes!
Must be toilet trained. Each week we will explore and discover what is wonderful & exciting about so many things. We will sing, play games, create crafts, and have plenty of adventures. Each week will have a special theme. Held mornings only: 9 AM-Noon. 20 participants per week can be accommodated. |

CRPR KidVenture Camps understand what it means to be a KID! Join our qualified and enthusiastic KIDVenture staff for an exciting summer of discovery, adventure, and fantastic memories! Each week will have an exciting theme and there will be a good mix of enticing programmed activities, as well as time for swimming, field trips, and our weekly Counselor Surprise. Both KIDVenture Camps are full day programs (7:30AM - 5:30 PM) 7:30-9 AM and 4-5:30 PM each day will be time for check-in & check-out. 9AM-4PM will be KIDVenture program time! Some field trips may require an additional fee. 50 participants per week per site can be accommodated. |
KIDVenture Junior Leader Program
For youth entering Grades 8-12. $30R /$45N per week. Gain leadership experience and increase your sense of responsibility by assisting the KID-Venture Day Camp Staff with activities, events, field trips and FUN! Junior Leaders are scheduled from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday at both the Park Forest Elem. School and the South High School sites according to the KIDVenture sessions. In-person registration is required.
A Junior Leader Agreement must be signed by both the parent and the potential Jr. Leader as part of registration. The agreement is available HERE (PDF) or at the CRPR office (M-F, 8-5). A Junior Leader may register for up to 4 weeks. Registration Deadline: Fri., June 8. Sorry, no registrations can be accepted after this date. Spaces are limited and once a site is full, a waitlist will be available. A mandatory training session will be held on Tue., June 12, 5-8 PM. Details will be provided to registrants. |

* The 2012 Central PA Festival of the Arts is scheduled for July 12-15; Children & Youth Day is Wed., July 11.
Wee Kidventure will not meet on July 4 and July 11; KID Venture Camp will not meet on July 4.
INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
• Registration receipts (paper or electronic) will include additional details specific to each camp.
• A Health & Safety Form (PDF) is required for each camper.
DAY CAMP REFUND & TRANSFER POLICY (for all camps)
- Program fees may not be prorated, refunded or credited based upon attendance.
- A $5 processing fee will be charged for each week that is cancelled.
- If a refund request is made 6 business days or more before the first day of camp, a full refund (less a $5 administrative processing fee) will be provided for the Camp.
- If a refund request is made 5 business days or less before the first day of camp, a full refund (less a $5 administrative processing fee) will be provided for the Camp ONLY IF a participant from the wait list can be placed in the reserved slot. If no replacement can be found, no refund can be provided.
- Transfers from one week to another or from one CRPR camp to another will only be made if an opening exists and a transfer request is received at the CRPR office at least 1 week prior to the start of the earliest week. A $5.00 Camp Transfer Fee will be charged (per child) for each session transfer.
- Camp registrations are not transferable to another individual.
DAY CAMP PAYMENT PLAN (available for Wee KidVenture and KidVenture Camps)
Payment in full for at least the first two weeks per child is due at the time of registration. Payment deadlines for subsequent weeks are listed below and payments must be made according to the schedule below. Registrants with an outstanding balance may not participate in the program.
- Weeks 1 & 2 at the time of registration
- Weeks 3 & 4 paid in full by 5 PM on Friday, May 11
- Weeks 5 & 6 paid in full by 5 PM on Friday, June 8
- Weeks 7 & 8 paid in full by 5 PM on Friday, July 13
The agency may cancel camper registrations if the payments are not made as scheduled above.
